I just read a very sad thing:  Bea Arthur, known from the shows "Maude" and "Golden Girls" has died at the age of 86.  I always loved her acerbic wit and adored her.  This sucks and I am le sad.

I heard about it on NPR last night. It really is sad; I used to watch that show with my grandmother, who passed away last year.
