Well, I didn't suck too hard this month.

I wrote three stories, so that's pretty good.

The first thing I wrote was Part Two of the Story "Ride the Broom," which is a crossover between Harry Potter and my Sire!Spike 'verse, in which Spike turns Xander.

Then I wrote part seven for my paranormal 25 table, a ficlet called "Confused: an Interlude."

The last thing I wrote was for [info]velvetwhip, a small Willow/Angel piece titled "Paradise Changed."

So, not my most productive month, but definitely not my worst.

I got in trouble at work for being on the internet too much, so that's really cut down my writing time.  Oops?

Yeah, I've been lame about this lately, but maybe if I post something about writing, it'll get my ass in gear....

And upon further review, I realize that I didn't post a damn thing during August.
Yes yes, I was quite lame.
Quite lame indeed.

But September I handled rather well, truth be told.  I only posted three stories, but I've got two that are pretty much done though unbeta'd, and a couple others started.  And one of my stories was 9,000 all posted in one day, which is good for me.

The first fic I did was "Counting Bodies Like Sheep," which was an angsty Spander entry for

[profile] fanfic_fiesta.  I felt kinda bummed after I wrote it.

The next post was "A Sample Fantasy," which was a Bloodties Mike/Henry piece of PWP.  I was rather proud at the lack of plot considering that my stories always wind up with one.  Stupid plots.

Then the rest of the month was spent wrestling with my story "Andumbulu," another Spander.  This one I did for   [profile] fall_for_sx, and I was rather pleased with the reception it recieved.  It was over 9,000 words, about two thirds of which I wrote in about three or four days.

But I do have two other stories finished, and two others started, so yay me.  I guess.

~Alice~

Once again, I am way much lame-o in terms of posting.  Although in my defense, I have done some writing on some other stories.

The first thing I posted at the start of June was Chapter 3 of my story "Seeing the Colors Between Black and White," which is a crossover between Supernatural and BtVS.  It runs along with the story "When the Dead are Your Only Friends."  Both stories can be found HERE.

Then I did a fic for [profile] frk_werewolf, called "Bleed for You," which was based on the prompt "Wesley, blood."

Next was Chapter 4 of the story "Botched Spell," which I'm co-writing with [profile] cinderella81.

Then I wrote a story for the Mal/Simon ficathon at [profile] the_pretty_fits.  It was a strange, cracktastic piece called "The Secret Adventures of Colonel Fuzzy and General Moonbrain."

The I got friended by the fabulous [personal profile] noandwhere, whose birthday was coming up.  So based on the prompt "Spander, deluge," from her, I wrote "Not in So Many Words."  It was a silly, sweet, pr0ny Spander.

Then I wrote a "Bloodties" ficlet for [community profile] smallfandomfest.  My story was based on the prompt "Mike/Henry, possessive."  I titled it "Possesssion."

The last thing I wrote in July was "Fate," a very dark, angsty, 100-word drabble based on prompt #36, "Death Must Be So Beautiful" ~ Oscar Wilde, at [profile] fanfic_fiesta.

So that's what I did, and I did get rather busy toward the end.  Yay me!

Also, a million bajillion berzillion thanks to [personal profile] suki_blue, who offered to be my beta.  Seriously babe, you ever need a kidney, just let me know.
Wow.
You know how sometimes you stop and consider the monumental, impressive actions you've completed, and then stop in awe-stuck silence and reflect: "Yes, I am awesome."
Well I'm having one of those moments RIGHT NOW.
I am so awesome.  Just, the amount of writing I've done, it's so impressive.  It's enough to make the most prolific of writers drop to their knees and weep.

Or not.

So, the first story I wrote in May was "A Universe of Yes," a one-shot bit of drunk!Spander sex.  It got pretty damn long, but I blame that on the two sex scenes.  What can I say?  I'm a perv.

Then, I posted part two of my Firefly/BtVS crossover, "Serenity's King."  There was confusion, humor, and Illyria threatening bondage.  Ya know, a normal day.

And the last thing I posted was an original blurby thing called "On Display."  It was based on an analogy I gave to a therapist when I was severely depressed and trying to express how I felt.

Okay, so I suck this month, I haven't really posted much.  Because I suck!

But here's what I did:

My first piece was a continuation of my BtVS/NCIS crossover.  In it, we see Abby in London, doing the training, hitting on Spike.  Because she'd totally dig him.

Then I posted a pair of drabblish writings, titled "Watching Stillness" and "Watching Life," which is a seriously angsty bit of Spandery sadness.  I started it way back when, but never finished it because it was so damn sad.  But I found it and finished it.  So go me!  They were based on prompts from the community [profile] fanfic_fiesta.

Then I wrote a bit of naughty femmeslash for [info]angelicvampyre because she was feeling down.  She requested "The Education of Dawn" as a Faith/Dawn.  I don't write femmeslash, but I promised and this is what she wanted, so she got it.

Then came part four of five for my story "Capitalism and Syphilis," this one title "In Which the Immortal Four Get Suspicious...er."  Good times.

Then in retaliation against the angsty doom that was my last post for [info]fanfic_fiesta, I write two more drabbles for two [info]fanfic_fiesta, this group titled "Dreaming in Color."  It was filled with good, old-fashioned Spandery pr0n.  Good times.

Then on the 16th I posted chapter 3 of my story "Five People Sam Winchester Should Have Dated," in which I pair Sam Winchester with various characters from television and books, and then tell my version of what would have happened that fateful night the demon returned.  This chapter was called "Trembling Before God."

Okay, so I guess I did some pretty good work for a couple of weeks, but I haven't posted ANYTHING since then.  That's two weeks!  I am a bad panda.

So I decided to do this again because it makes me feel so accomplished.
MARCH:
"Jumping the Gun While Getting Jumped by an Old One," part 5 in my paranormal 25 stories.
"Botched Spell 2/?" (see blurb in Feb.)
Then I got all crazy over "Invader Zim," so I wrote a ficlet that is a BtVS/Zim cross of crazyness, "Prepare for Dooom!"
Then, cuz I suck a lot, I started another series.  Created out of my love for happy endings, Cordelia Chase is a Power that Be and she goes around making things the way she wants them.  Part one is a HP crossover called "Trippng Wizards,"
Then I did another story for my SGA/BtVS story, this one called "Their Entrails Were Not Appealing."
Then there was another NCIS/BtVS story, a continuation of "Nightmares," this one called "Running in Place to Save the World."
This was followed by a small ficlet from the same 'verse, just  written because it haunted my very soul, called "NCIS + Scoobies = Doom," chapter one titled "Poor Gibbs."
Next was part 3 of my Highlander story, called "Capitalism and Funny Syphilis: In Which Anya Makes a Friend."
Then came a non-cross taking place in SGA, called "Lip Balm," inspired by my lip balm.  It's all McSheppy of course.
Next post was for a story called "Five People Sam Winchester Should Have Dated," featuring a Buffy-verse character as Sam's S/O, and how that would have changed things.
Then, in my dumb ass wisdom, for my Paranormal 25 stories, I realized that I didn't have time/space for dealing with the Winchesters or their pairings, so I created a side story called "Seeing the Colors Between Black and White," for which I wrote two chapters.
And then I started thinking about Firefly, so I started another crossover called "Serentiy's King," because I didn't have enough stories going.  God, I'm so stupid! *smacks self*
Then I posted another chapter of my coauthored story "Botched Spell."  Chapter three is HERE
Then I wrote a story called "Ride the Broom."  As you may or may not know, I'm continuing my Siring by Spike 'verse, in which Spike turns a terminally ill Xander.  I opened it to fans of the first parts, allowing for x-over suggestion.  In this story, they goes to Hogwarts.  This one has pr0n!
Then I wrote some more pr0n, for chapter six of "When the Dead are Your Only Friends."  I titled this bit "Who Ya Gonna Call?  Not These Guys..."

So I have a problem.  But the first step is admitting I have a problem.  Uh, is there a self-group anyone knows of?

Okay, so some of you all are doing this thingy where you post an entry with stories that you've posted so far this year, so I figured what the hey.

JANUARY:
My paranormal table part two, "Of Crazed Spirits and Similies"

FEBRUARY:
My BtVS/SGA crossover, part one "It's Not an It"
"Little Ghost, Little Ghost" from my paranormal table
My psychotic script "Do Not Meddle in the Affairs of Slashies"
"Paranormal Bling-Bling," part four of my table
Another SGA/BtVS bit called "Who Would You Rather?"
"Nightmares," a BtVS crossover with the show NCIS, because I love me that crazy goth scientist.
"Captalism and Funny Syphilis: In Which Anya Gets a Job," my Highlander cross.
"Capitalism and Funny Syphilis: In Which the Immotal Four Get Confused," part deux in my Highlander series.  Cuz I'm nutty.
"Botched Spell 1/?" coauthored with cinderella81, is a silly bit of Spandery fun.  No crossover or anything.

Wow, lots of crossover type stuff.  Hmm... I should get back to my Spandery roots....
