This was posted by one of my friends on LJ, and I highly recommend it.  It is an editorial, but it is a powerful one that makes a lot of valid points on the issues of partisanship, patriotism, and the idea that a President can overrule a jury in a clear case of wrong.

This is a link to a video, and while it would be rough to watch if you are a Republican, it does actually bring up some valid points.  It is also several minutes long, but I do recommend watching it in it's entirety.

Warning: definitely not a fun thing to watch on the Fourth of July, but it is, perhaps, all too appropriate.

Keith Olbermann delivers arguably his most pointed and most powerful Special Comment yet on the ramifications of Bush’s commutation of Libby’s sentence.
Okay, so someone on my F-list asked how many stories I've got going, and well, I'm scaring myself.
::nods::

I have nine, NINE WIPs at the moment, i.e. stories I'm trying to work on.  Then I have four stories that I've started but that I've put on the back-burner for now.  Then I have a story I need to work on for a ficathon.  And to top it all off, I have about seven other story ideas that I want to write.  I am so screwed.  Or, as the french say, je suis le screwed.  It's true, I looked it up.
