A Post... Yet Again... Sorry...

So, I was reading one of kitty_poker's entries and was reminded of this article I read last week.

The End of Christian America by Jon Meacham

It was a well-thought out, intelligent discussion on the way America is heading after the last 8 years, in terms of religion, and discusses some of the difficulties in separating church and state, and the way many Americans are now holding their politics apart from their beliefs.

Very thought provoking.

That was a fascinating article.

Yeah, I liked it because despite the fact that my beliefs are as confused and uncertain as I am, this article was balanced, looking at the fact that this county is supposed to be seperate, and yet there is a strong christian element. It made a lot of sense to me.

yeah, kinda long so I ended up printing it out and taking it home with me. Made me feel all kinds of smart, and I enjoyed the article because while my beliefs are uncertain, the writer is Christian, so he doesn't criticize or belittle Christianity, but the way it's be presented and directed in modern America.
